Metafield Editor+Data Doctor (formerly Metafields Editor) “the App” provides metafields editing, Product Data Health (“Data Doctor”), and related tools “the Service” to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. It is built by Webify Technology Inc “The Company”. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store, or visit our public marketing pages.

Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account. The data the App accesses is configured by users of the App as part of the setting of the App. Data you can allow the App to access is listed below.

  • Product, Variants, Collections and related metafields information.
  • Customer and related metafields information. Only customer id is accessed by the App.
  • Order and related metafields information. Only order number is accessed by the App.
  • Blog, Page, Article and related metafields information.
  • Shop and related metafields information.

Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from you and/or your customers once you have installed the App. We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account using the following technologies:

On our public marketing pages (for example metafieldseditor.com), we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Site. Google may set cookies or similar technologies and process usage data (such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device/browser information, and referral source) on our behalf.
